Behaviour systems only work when recording takes seconds — and when the person recording can only reach the children they actually teach. The subject teacher’s own workspace carries a Behaviour module of its own: the pupils who offer their subjects, the school’s categories, and nothing else. There is no route from here into the school’s incident register or detention roster; those belong to the office.

Every pupil who takes this teacher’s subjects is one search away — resolved from their own teaching assignments, so an elective set is the pupils who chose it, not the whole arm. Before awarding — or when a pattern needs a conversation — the teacher opens the pupil’s behaviour record: totals, badges, and every event with who awarded it and why. A pupil they do not teach simply cannot be opened.
What I awarded — and how to take one back
A teacher’s own log of every point they gave, filterable by category, type and date. A mis-tap is withdrawn here with a reason, which is recorded rather than erased. A colleague’s award is not in this list, and is not theirs to withdraw.

When it’s more than points
Some things are not a −3. Discipline incidents get their own register: typed, dated, located, tracked through investigation to resolution, with sanctions recorded against them and a formal appeal path.

Detentions that actually happen
A sanction that nobody tracks is a sanction that didn’t happen. The detention register schedules each one — break-time, lunchtime, after school or Saturday — assigns a supervisor, notifies the family, and records whether the student showed up.
